The challenge

Smart buildings allow both architects and business owners to plan and exploit real estate efficiently. The modern workforce is increasingly mobile, and real estate cost is an essential concern for employers. The retail shopping floor also changes rapidly, as shop owners face similar challenges.

Technologies such as People Counting Sensors and Space Management Software become essential to stay ahead.

This is where our customer - UbiqiSense - comes in, with their portfolio of Smart Office, Smart Building, and Smart Retail solutions. UbiqiSense has tasked us to build UbiqiSense Analytics. It is a web platform that provides customers with rich user interfaces where they visualize their locations’ occupancy, building footfalls, and so on.

Easy to use analytics with data and real-time metrics that help business owners make better decisions.

Low costs

Lower costs for cleaning and catering, based on the real usage of office space.

Optimization

Optimize meeting rooms, floor space, and store design to meet business goals.

Revenue increase

Increase revenues, customer, and employee satisfaction by having a well-designed store or working space.

Working with 3angleTech is cloud development on steroids (figuratively!). The team is super efficient, immediately grasps any idea you throw at it, and turns it into production-grade solutions in weeks. I can highly recommend 3angleTech to anyone who wants to take cloud solutions to the next level.

Features

UbiqiSense Analytics can use both local and cloud services (AWS) for storing, analyzing, and visualizing data. The platform allows new devices and users to be managed remotely using cloud services, and it has the following key features:

Statistics

Statistics about occupancy levels and foot traffic - by analyzing the occupancy data over time, customers achieve the most efficient meeting room configuration.

Time and space occupancy per day and hour

Collecting data on how occupants are using floor space allows business owners to adjust cleaning, catering, and other services according to the actual usage of each room.

Real-time views of customer locations

Heatmaps of where people tend to stand more frequently - helps businesses resize and rearrange meeting rooms according to real-life occupancy. With this data, stores can adjust shelf design and product display accordingly.

Our work doesn’t stop here.

We are adding new features based on UbiqiSense’s product roadmap and the data gathered on how customers use UbiqiSense Analytics.
Our mission is to reduce the development cost of new features and prioritize those features that bring the most business value to UbiqiSense and its clients.
Some tools assist UbiqiSense in the provisioning of new customers, others help them debug sensor-related connectivity issues.
We also built internal tools for UbiqiSense that are not customer-facing.
